Two bouts of testicular cancer, one sudden cardiac arrest, and a whole lot of higher education left us feeling battered – but leaning into humor and a passionate online community of medical professionals, co-survivors, and others got us through.
Since then, we’ve worked to channel our trauma into building a platform for laughter, advocacy, and education. Will creates medical-themed comedy shorts for an audience of over 6 million across social media. Meanwhile, Kristin teaches healthcare workers about the patient and family experience, advocates for caregivers and co-survivors, and spreads the word about the importance of CPR and AED training to saving lives.
